F.A.Q.
Will my insurance cover all the costs of reconstruction?
Many policies cover restoration and reconstruction after fire, water, or storm damage, but coverage varies. We work closely with you and your insurance adjuster to clarify what’s included so you know what to expect.
How long does the insurance claim process take?
The timeline depends on your insurance company and the complexity of the damage. We provide thorough documentation upfront and stay in communication with your adjuster to help keep the process moving efficiently.
Do I need to get multiple estimates for my insurance claim?
Some insurance companies may request multiple estimates, but in many cases, one detailed estimate from a trusted contractor like RIGGS is enough. We ensure our estimates meet insurance requirements.
What happens if the insurance payment doesn’t cover everything?
Your insurance covers repairs up to your policy limits. If you choose upgrades or changes beyond what’s covered, we’ll provide a clear breakdown of any additional costs before work begins.
Who coordinates between SERVPRO, Riggs, and my insurance company?
We do. SERVPRO of Tupelo handles the immediate restoration, while RIGGS oversees the reconstruction. Together, we work directly with your insurance adjuster so you don’t have to manage the back-and-forth.
